ST.PATRICK'S SCHOOL
The School was founded in 1933 by Canon Dillon. It cost £40,000 and was paid for entirely by donations and fund raising efforts of the parish - at the time of The Depression! Originally the school was for children aged 5-14 years of age and at its peak over 500 pupils attended the school. When the Secondary Modern, later Comprehensive School, system was introduced for pupils over the age of 11, St.Patrick's became an infant and Primary School for a Roll of 240 pupils. The dedicated commitment of the \teaching Staff and all involved in the life of the School has gained St.Patrick's and invaluable reputation throughout Bristol.
