In 1990 St.Patrick's Church opened its own Charity shop on Church Road, the main High Street shopping centre of the area. It is staffed entirely by volunteers, mostly Senior Citizens - at the last count over 30 parishioners were working a weekly shift. The shop accepts donated items of good quality clothing and household goods, bric-a-brac...and antiques!
